NEW POLICY: AI Use When Completing Assignments with HS Brands

Your report must be written in your own voice, based on your own observations. AI-generated content submitted as your work is not acceptable — full stop.

We recognize that AI writing tools are widely used and can genuinely help with things like grammar, clarity, and organizing your notes. This communication sets out our approach: what's supported, what's not, and why it matters.

Our position: AI is permitted as a support tool. It is not a replacement for completing the shop, making your own observations, or reporting accurately. You are always accountable for everything you submit.

What We Require from All Shoppers

    All submitted details must reflect what you personally observed during the shop.

    Client names, locations, and project details must stay confidential — never enter them into AI tools.

    You are responsible for the accuracy of your report, regardless of any tools used.

    AI can shift your tone. Review any AI-assisted writing to make sure the report still sounds like you.

Why This Matters

High Risk — Data Privacy: Client names and instructions entered into AI tools can be exposed or retained. This is a breach of confidentiality.

Medium Risk — Report Quality: AI-generated content often lacks the specific, credible detail that clients rely on to make decisions.

Ongoing — Authenticity: Reports that read as polished but vague, or don't sound like the shopper, reduce client confidence and may reflect on your reputation. Your voice and your observations are what make your reports valuable.

Consequences for Misuse

Submitting fabricated, AI-generated, or inaccurate reports — or sharing confidential client data with AI tools — may result in your report being excluded, removal from assignments, or termination from our shopper database.

Shop Comments Fitness Club Shops - No Workout Required! Hi Shoppers! $5 Bonus Just Added! Acculocity on behalf of HS Brands is now scheduling shops at Planet Fitness! You will receive a $30 shopper pay for successful completion of this shop! **The shopper CANNOT be a current member of the assigned club. It is OK if they belong to another club. If you have a Black Card membership you are NOT eligible.** These shops MUST be conducted between 9am and 8pm to ensure proper staffing during the visit. These are two-part shops: *You will make a pre-visit recorded phone call to the location utilizing the 800 number and access codes provided in the shop report. *You will visit the location and make some basic observations, take a tour of the facility and interact with staff members following the scenario provided in the guidelines. *You MUST take a photo of the front of the location and upload it to the report. Reports without the REQUIRED photo cannot be accepted. *Selfie in front of the building AFTER YOUR VISIT There is NOT a workout component for this assignment. You are NOT purchasing a day pass during your visit to the location. You MUST review all guidelines and the shop report prior to making your phone call and visiting the location. All shops are due by within 12 hours of visiting the location or by MIDNIGHT on the due date, whichever occurs first. **Please Note! Comments need to be UNIQUE and ORIGINAL for each shop!
