NEW POLICY: AI Use When Completing Assignments with HS Brands

Your report must be written in your own voice, based on your own observations. AI-generated content submitted as your work is not acceptable — full stop.

We recognize that AI writing tools are widely used and can genuinely help with things like grammar, clarity, and organizing your notes. This communication sets out our approach: what's supported, what's not, and why it matters.

Our position: AI is permitted as a support tool. It is not a replacement for completing the shop, making your own observations, or reporting accurately. You are always accountable for everything you submit.

What We Require from All Shoppers

    All submitted details must reflect what you personally observed during the shop.

    Client names, locations, and project details must stay confidential — never enter them into AI tools.

    You are responsible for the accuracy of your report, regardless of any tools used.

    AI can shift your tone. Review any AI-assisted writing to make sure the report still sounds like you.

Why This Matters

High Risk — Data Privacy: Client names and instructions entered into AI tools can be exposed or retained. This is a breach of confidentiality.

Medium Risk — Report Quality: AI-generated content often lacks the specific, credible detail that clients rely on to make decisions.

Ongoing — Authenticity: Reports that read as polished but vague, or don't sound like the shopper, reduce client confidence and may reflect on your reputation. Your voice and your observations are what make your reports valuable.

Consequences for Misuse

Submitting fabricated, AI-generated, or inaccurate reports — or sharing confidential client data with AI tools — may result in your report being excluded, removal from assignments, or termination from our shopper database.

Hi Shoppers! $8 Bonus Just Added! *This bonus offer is ONLY applicable to shops that are not yet assigned. **Please note - if you have previously been assigned to a location during the course of this round and did not complete as scheduled or did not successfully complete you may be reassigned at our discretion, but it will be at the original rate you were originally assigned. Acculocity on behalf of HS Brands is now scheduling mystery shops at Sunoco! You will be reimbursed up to $6 for your required purchase PLUS you will receive a $12 shopper pay for successful completion of this shop! PURCHASES: *A minimum of 1 gallon of gas (up to $5) and a convenience store purchase (up to $1) OBJECTIVE: *To assess the overall appearance and service of this facility. This includes the Forecourt (outside area) and Backcourt (building and inside areas). BEFORE YOU GO: *Read these instructions AND the entire form thoroughly to completely understand the requirements of this shop. *Call the location to confirm their hours of operation. We are unable to pay you if the location is closed. *Visit at least 15 minutes after the store opens and at least 45 minutes before the store closes. *If you have questions, ask your scheduler BEFORE doing your shop. REQUIRED PHOTO UPLOADS: These photos are ALL REQUIRED. If any are missing, your shop will not be accepted. Please see reference images via the link at the top of the shop report for examples of what these pictures should depict. *Overall site photo *MID (main price) sign *Landscaping and paved areas *Canopy * Pump island *Pump dispenser *Restroom (or picture depicting it was out of order) *Gas purchase receipt *Convenience store purchase receipt *Picture showcasing any other non-compliant items (if applicable) *Photographic evidence of location being closed during posted operating hours (if applicable) *Picture of Ultra Service Center signage (if applicable) Make sure to check your photos before leaving the location to ensure none are missing and they are all clear/legible. SPECIAL NOTES: *Is this a revealed audit? NO! This is a mystery shop. You should not reveal to staff, managers or owners that you are conducting an evaluation. The Letter of Authorization is provided to you (downloadable from the top of the shop report) in case somebody tries to stop you from carrying out your assignment but you should not volunteer it from the start. *There are 4 downloadable items listed at the top of the shop report: 1 - Reference Images 2 - Additional Reference Images 3 - List of Frequently Asked Questions 4 - LOA - Letter of Authorization *These shops are assigned with windows. This means the shops will be available to be completed any day between 1/01 and the date you select as your due date on your application. Please keep this in mind when selecting your date on your application. All shop reports are due within 24 hours of visiting the location or by MIDNIGHT on the submit due date (the day after your scheduled shop), whichever occurs first. Any shop not submitted by MIDNIGHT on the submit due date will be removed and a rating of 1 will be applied to your account. Looking forward to working with you!
