NEW POLICY: AI Use When Completing Assignments with HS Brands

Your report must be written in your own voice, based on your own observations. AI-generated content submitted as your work is not acceptable — full stop.

We recognize that AI writing tools are widely used and can genuinely help with things like grammar, clarity, and organizing your notes. This communication sets out our approach: what's supported, what's not, and why it matters.

Our position: AI is permitted as a support tool. It is not a replacement for completing the shop, making your own observations, or reporting accurately. You are always accountable for everything you submit.

What We Require from All Shoppers

    All submitted details must reflect what you personally observed during the shop.

    Client names, locations, and project details must stay confidential — never enter them into AI tools.

    You are responsible for the accuracy of your report, regardless of any tools used.

    AI can shift your tone. Review any AI-assisted writing to make sure the report still sounds like you.

Why This Matters

High Risk — Data Privacy: Client names and instructions entered into AI tools can be exposed or retained. This is a breach of confidentiality.

Medium Risk — Report Quality: AI-generated content often lacks the specific, credible detail that clients rely on to make decisions.

Ongoing — Authenticity: Reports that read as polished but vague, or don't sound like the shopper, reduce client confidence and may reflect on your reputation. Your voice and your observations are what make your reports valuable.

Consequences for Misuse

Submitting fabricated, AI-generated, or inaccurate reports — or sharing confidential client data with AI tools — may result in your report being excluded, removal from assignments, or termination from our shopper database.

Shop Comments Fitness Club Shops! Hi Shoppers! Acculocity on behalf of HS Brands is now scheduling Brand Standards shops at Planet Fitness! You will receive a $40 shopper pay for successful completion of these shops! **UPDATE** Shoppers are now eligible to complete a maximum of 3 shops with day passes in one month. You may ONLY complete 1 shop per day and there must be a minimum of 2 blank days between shops. For example: If you shop on a Monday the next day you would be eligible to complete a day pass should would be Thursday. If you have previously completed a day pass shop you will need to delete the PF app entirely from your device and use a different email address than you have previously used to obtain the day pass. These shops focus on evaluating customer service, cleanliness, and equipment condition. Shoppers will assess the cleanliness of both the exterior and interior of the club, including workout areas, equipment, and locker rooms, while also evaluating overall maintenance and organization. Additionally, shoppers must gather information about the membership options offered. Shoppers should arrive dressed and prepared to work out. You must use at least one piece of equipment and/or fitness area for a minimum of ten minutes. A full workout is NOT required. Examples include walking on the treadmill, stretching in the stretching area, using an elastic band, using a foam roller, etc. You must stay in the club for at least 20 minutes to ensure you evaluate the lobby, workout areas, and locker room for cleanliness, upkeep. Prior to your visit, you are required to download the Planet Fitness Workouts app and apply for a day pass. Current Planet Fitness members are eligible to complete these shops; however, they may not audit their home club. Current members must create a new email address and use it to apply for a day pass before completing the shop. *Selfie in front of the building AFTER YOUR VISIT You must review the entire guidelines AND shop report prior to beginning your shop to ensure you are fully prepared to make all required observations.
